I watched Tron yesterday for the first time.  Somehow I missed watching this 1982 classic as a kid.

Highlights included Bit, the boolean-returning delegate pattern:

Apparently Tron didn’t get the Oscar for Best Special effects because they “cheated” by using computer graphics.  That’s hard to comprehend in the age of 2 hour SIGGRAPH presentations on smoke algorithms.

Personal websites are becoming non-sites.  Sites that only points to other sites.

Robert Smithson is one of my favorite artists.  If he was still alive I’d follow him on Twitter.

Where is “my website,” anyway?  Here, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa?  Does “my website” mean anything anymore?

4th version I think.  This was a blog way back in 1999.  It was a portfolio for a few years.  Things were dusty and there were cobwebs everywhere.
